Cocktail Party & Clam Bake

At Mystic Seaport Boat Shed

Friday, July 22, 6pm

If you’ve got a passion for gleaming varnish, polished stainless and the classic lines of Rybo in her heyday you won’t want to miss the chance to celebrate vintage Rybovich in grand style!  After the sight of the half-dozen meticulously maintained 1950s Rybo’s as they arrive at the dock we’ll meet for cocktails and dinner at the wonderfully rustic Mystic Boat Shed. The small private party will start at 6 and will run till the wee hours.  You’ll enjoy meeting fellow Rybo-aficionados and will have the opportunity to chat with proud vintage Rybo-owners who share a crazy passion for preserving my dad’s work! We’ll also be joined by beloved Rybovich captains, members of the Rybovich family and Rybo-VIPs who will thrill you with captivating stories of their experiences with the boatyard “back in the day.” 

Our Welcoming Party & Clam Bake will be a Rybo-celebration to remember!  As we relax in Mystic’s 300 year old seaport we’ll celebrate the boatyard’s colorful 92-year heritage.  And we’ll and raise a glass to our generous vintage Rybo-owners for their commitment to preserve and present my dad’s rare creations.   Many magnificent Rybo’s have suffered years of neglect but thanks to the owner’s passionate investment of love, time and a boatload of money these half-century ol’ gals have been given new life!  Along with our thanks there will be Rybovich treasures I’ve been busy designing—like the new Rybo baseball cap along and canvas & leather Rybo Boat Bags. 

THE RYBOVICH CLAM BAKE MENU
